Periodicals

Periodicals, journals, magazines, newspapers and other items can be bound to individual specifications. For periodicals, adverts can be removed and title pages, contents and indexes inserted. Security triggers and barcodes can be added if required, and pockets added for CDs, maps or inserts. Degraded newspapers can be conserved, and a microfilming service is also available.

Full Specification: Contents are fully collated and compiled removing all adverts without text and covers. The title page, contents and indexes are inserted according to individual requirements.

All journals are fully sewn and bound using best quality water-resistant Buckram and Eska Board incorporating a French groove. The book block is sewn, trimmed, rounded, backed and lined.

The spine is embossed in gold, white, black or silver foil to a standard spine lettering format.

Easy bound: As above (fully sewn and cloth bound), except the book block is bound as received. No adverts are removed.

This form of library binding remains the most suitable form of storage and protection for journals and magazines. Our service is renowned for its consistency, accuracy, strength and high quality.

Our flexible approach ensures we will do all we can to meet your requirements and our confidence in our standard of work is such that all journal bindings are guaranteed for 10 years.
