Welcome

Our Story
Riley Dunn & Wilson started out life as Dunn & Wilson Ltd in Edinburgh in 1909 when the strong business partnership between two apprenticed bookbinders, Hugh Dunn and William Wilson, was forged. The firm grew rapidly during the next 40 years to become a group of companies specialising in the supply of binding and book selling services to libraries in the Uk, Ireland, Australia and western Europe.
Today
Today, RDW has its head office and bindery in Falkirk, Central Scotland. The Company is the leading and largest commercial book and paper conservation and binding firm in Europe, offering a diversified range of services to libraries, archives, museums, hospitals, courts and record offices, as well as to private collectors.
Reilly Bookbinders, Wicklow
Riley Dunn & Wilson set up the Irish operation of Reilly Bookbinders in Wicklow in the early 1980s and provided all of the staff training equipment and senior management. Reilly’s built up an enviable reputation providing book binding and book repair services to the academic library community, government, national library, medical institutes, colleges and information centres throughout the country.
Reilly Bookbinders was sold to local managers in 2004 by RDW before its eventual and sudden closure in early 2008.
Since then, many of Reilly’s previous long and loyal customers have been looking for another similar service outlet so RDW are pleased now to be supplying a direct range of services again to library customers in Eire but this time from our base in Falkirk.
